My Dory Hotel experiences

I have been to Riccione twice now and stayed at Hotel Dory both times. It has always been a wonderful experience with great rooms, amazing food and wonderful rides each day. Stefano and his staff are as good as it gets in a hotel stay and they make you feel like the hotel is your home while you are there and will do everything they can to make sure you are having the best time possible.
Surely I can say that if you are searching for a bike hotel in Italy, Hotel Dory is the right answer!

Second visit to Hotel Dory

This is my second visit to Hotel Dory and a biking holiday in Italy. We are 26 Canadians trying to extend our biking season. Have been on three fabulous rides so far and looking forward to two more rides.
Had a great ride yesterday, did 123 km with our guide Andrea. He is a very good rider. We had good support along the way with the Dory van providing lunch and assistance with the bikes. We had three flats but they were very quickly repaired by our guide. We are riding excellent Scott carbon bikes and all of our mechanical needs are being taken care of.

Hotel Dory 2015

Not sure if I qualify — I haven’t actually been cycling in Italy — but I want to!! I have friends who cycled in this area several years ago. They told me about Hotel Dory, the best bike hotel in Italy for them. They told me how friendly the proprietors were, how great the service and support, all about the wonderful meals!!

San Marino with Cappuccino Light

Riding out from the hotel Dory, one of the most fantastic bike hotel ever, with the city beginning to buzz and wake up, I felt excited and ready for a great climbing day. The country side began to take over and give more room more the delicious frangrances of grapes heavy on the vine and flowers opening to the sun. Out guide stopped us a a quaint, quintessential Italian Castle for photos. The exuberance of the guide for taking photos allowed our group to connect more.

San Marino Route

This is my first experience on an Italian Cycling Week. I have been on other 7 day and 10 day tours in the united States and Canada but this is without a doubt the best cycling holiday bar none. From the beginning The Staff at Hotel Dory, awesome hotel in Riccione in Italy, was exceptional all the time and they do not have NO in their vocabulary. Everything that we requested came with a smile no matter how busy they were at any time night or day. The Guides were friendly, kmowledgeable and accommodating.

Fantastic ride in Santarcangelo

The ride began with excitement and anticipation as we all meet in front of the Hotel Dory, first Italian bike hotel. Nervous voices of diffent tribes chatted and giggles. Soft femernine tones of the women and the strong male voices blended together to create a choir of cyclests. All waiting to set off into the sunny october morn. Well feed with the food from the bounty full spread healthy and filling.Yum Yum.

Ride to San Marino

The start of the ride all very calm every one sorting there bikes out. Then the start rolling out nice and slow onto the beach road and into the glourius sunshine, the guides taking care everyone is together. The bike i hired was first class everything worked fine with a compuyor on board pump and repair kits if needed,after a while we turn towards the big hills still rolling along flat roads but now in the contry side looking at the local life going on so much to take in as you ride the wonderfull smell of the fruit growing on the trees as you cycle by and all the diffrent things going on.
