The new challenge of 2012: Monte Catria.

Pushing over the limits.

Among the best climbs by racing bikes in the Hotel Dory surroundings, that one of the Monte Catria was choosen to be included in the news of 2012.

A route long 220 km with slopes up to 14/15% rising up to 1700 metres.

The climb and the difficulty will be compensated by the breathtaking view, that you can enjoy on the top.

As well as the excursions to Assisi and Florence, this route is addressed to well-trained cyclists (Limoncino group).

Monte Catria is waiting for us on 20th September to still enjoy the last rays of sun and to admire the landscape during cycling.

The route will lead us to the border between Marches and Umbria, after having faced the climbs of Tavoleto and Urbino and crossed the Furlo pass.

We will tackle Monte Catria on the Buonconsiglio side, the most demanding climb 12 km long.

In this area you can admire Frontone Castle and Fonte Avellana monastery.

Then we will descend towards Chiaserna, designed for “real descent lovers”.

We garanteed a minibus and mechanical assistance.
