| The history of the Hotel Dory |

1997 The Hotel Dory became the first hotel in Riccione to offer facilities designed for cycling tourists and Stefano Giuliodori founded, and was also named president of, Italy Bike Hotels; a consortium that boasts fifty affiliated hotels throughout Italy. |

1998 The following year, Roberta Giuliodori founded Italy Family Hotels, a consortium of hotels that cater specially for families with children. The third-born child of the Giuliodori family is a founding member of the consortium and also its vice-president. |

2002 The Hotel Dory also belongs to the REX Hotels consortium, in other words Rimini Exhibition Hotels. This further highlights the hotel’s vocation to business guests.
In the space of about a decade, the Dory children have shown their ability to bring new business acumen to the hotel and have added new entrepreneurial inputs to the Italian hotel scene. |
