TUESDAY: A SPECIAL DAY

By popular demand, this year we are organising 2 great tours for the Cappuccino, Cappuccino Super and Limoncino groups.
Route 1: Santarcangelo–Barbotto–Grillo Pass–Verucchio: 145 km
On this splendid ride we’ll be pedalling to the north of our area, climbing several passes including the Barbotto, one of our region’s steepest gradients (max. 18%). Many professionals have trained on these roads for the Giro d’Italia. We stop for a rest at the top, with a well-deserved visit to a small local restaurant. On the way home we climb the Grillo Pass, but following a road only a few people know…
Route2: Mombaroccio–Montemaggiore–Saltara–Panoramic Road: 155 km
This ride takes us south, through the breathtakingly beautiful but relatively unknown Marche region. After 50 km we join the route of the 16th Giro d’Italia in 2009, from Pergola to Monte Pertano, also passing through Mombaroccio, Montemaggiore and even Saltara, where in 2003 two-times World Champion Paolo Bettino won his first Italian Championship. For the last 35 km of this unique ride we follow the Panoramic Road along the coast, enjoying excellent views of the blue Adriatic Sea, with its fairytale inlets.

As usual we guarantee assistance and recovery with our minibus.

Departure is scheduled for 8.30 am with the return planned for around 4/5 pm.
